MHP to hold Fourth of July enforcement period
Troopers with the Mississippi Highway Patrol will be conducting a holiday enforcement period called Drive Right Mississippi starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday.
According to a release from MHP Capt. Troopers will also be looking for instances of motorist not abiding by the left hand lane law, where motorists are mandated by law to keep slower traffic in the right lane.
The enforcement period will last until midnight Sunday, July 5.
