Free microblading for cancer survivors

As part of National Cancer Survivor Month, local microblading business owner Hong “Pepper” Poe will be offering up to $13,000 in microblading services to cancer survivors.
Scott Poe, Hong’s husband, said that his wife has typically offered 50 percent discounts to people who have survived cancer treatment.
But this month, Picayune Microblading, located at 306 Highway 11 N., will provide the first microblading session free until the business reaches $13,000 in total free services provided, Scott Poe said.
All the patient will need is a release from their doctor.
Microblading is a service that uses ink to draw in strokes that resemble hairs in the area of a person’s eyebrows to make them look fuller and more symmetrical.
Cancer treatments typically cause the patient to loose some or all of their hair.
Poe said that his wife is an immigrant who started her own small business and is using this opportunity to give back to her new community. He said five patients were already scheduled to receive the free treatment as of late May.
Scott Poe asks that patients call the business at 504-533-1947 first to make an appointment.
